The Pharmacy Pharmacists’ defence association (PDA) has fixed this year’s conference for the 26th & 27th February 2011. Bookapharmacist.com is recommending all pharmacists who can attend this event to do so – whether they are members of the PDA or not.

The conference website (link) suggest that the conference will appeal to pharmacists of all sectors: Community pharmacists, Hospital pharmacists, Primary Care pharmacists and newly qualified pharmacists.

The conference, titled: “a new pharmacy road map” has important keynote speakers from John Murphy (PDA Director), Dr Keith Ridge (Chief Pharmaceutical Officer for England), Bill Scott (Chief Pharmaceutical Officer for Scotland) to Mike Sobanja (Chief Executive NHS Alliance), Helen Gordon (RPS Chief Executive), Ann Tunnadine (Director, Andpartnership) and of course the indomitable Mark Koziol (PDA Chairman) (link).

The conference will be held at the ICC in Birmingham and will cost around £50 for non-members for each day and around £40 for members. Discounts are available to those booking both days (link).

Bookapharmacist.com recommends attendance. This is the start of a brighter future for UK Pharmacy PLC.
