Professional Support – Dealing with children who are collecting medicines from pharmacy

by Kazeem Olalekan MRPharmS

One of the benefits of being a member of the Pharmacy professional body: RPS is access to the Pharmaceutical Journal and professional support in the form of Professional Matters. It is the NO 12, April 2012 edition of the Professional Support Bulletin that caught my attention. It tackles how to deal with children who are collecting medicines from the pharmacy: a common issue.

I like the advise offered in the document and suffice to say it doesn’t stipulate an age. Other factors, detailed in the document, are clearly more important than just an arbitrary age limit. If I tell you what they are, I will have to kill you…and that will not be nice.

Try and read this when and if you can. It is not very long.
