We thought we will sign post you to the key pharmacy training providers in Hampshire. This is partly to let you know where to search for training events should you fall into the categories of pharmacists working in Hampshire and not getting the appropriate training. An partly to highlight some important upcoming events in the pharmacy training calendar.

The H&IoW LPC is organised into Local Pharmaceutical Groups to cover the whole of Hampshire. The groups include: South West Hampshire; Isle of Wight; Mid Hampshire; North Hampshire; Portsmouth and South East Hampshire and Southampton City. Each group organises its own focused training for pharmacists in the locality. These groups however, come together to organise a LPC event e.g. AGM etc.

H&IOW LPC Annual General Meeting

The AGM will include formal acceptance of the LPC’s Annual Report and accounts and a Special General Meeting to vote on a new LPC Constitution based on PSNC’s new model. This will be followed by an interview with Steve Churton, RPSGB President, covering the Responsible Pharmacist and the creation of a new leadership bodt and the GPhC regulatory body.

The Society and the Centre for Pharmacy Postgraduate Education (CPPE) have teamed up to deliver a programme of interactive workshops to support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with the introduction of mandatory CPD recording.
