At bookapharmacist.com, we are introducing another first! We are inviting any pharmacist or current pre-registration pharmacist to talk about their pre-registration projects in a quick fire way to convey the essence of their project/audit. It is a training in dissemination of finding in a quick accessible way. So the invitation is open to anyone who wants to take up the challenge!
Tomisin Adedipe was the first to volunteer – brave man! Tomisin was a pre-registration pharmacist at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHSFT) between 2014 and 2015. You can find him on LinkedIn here: https://www.linkedin.com/in/tomisin-adedipe-2604a961
The format of the interview is straight forward enough: (1) Brief Introduction (2) Title of audit/project (3) Rationale for the audit (4) Intervention (5) Finding (6) Anything else you want to mention about the audit (freestyle)!
Tomisin is now a Rational Pharmacist at Barts Health NHS Trust and his audit involve looking at the impact of an intervention that could lead to the reduction in the use of Meropenem at UHSFT.

Thank you Tomisin, that wasn’t too bad I hope. Tomisin’s audit presented in less than 2 minutes! A record to beat!
We definitely like to celebrate success and a big thanks to Dr Hayley Wickens (https://www.linkedin.com/in/hayley-wickens-63497536) for supervising this project.
